  1. “Contrast that with the elites. There are maybe 1 or 2 million total, of whom only a few tens of thousands really matter.

Change their thinking and you can change the nation.”

Yup, and this is why Democrats are doing everything they can to destroy Musk for buying Twitter.

      1. From the Charleston to the Sea, Cambridge will be terrorist free

        FTFY

Technically Cambridge ends at the East Cambridge Drawbridge next to the Science Museum just west of the Leonard P. Zakim Bridge.

“Charlestown” is the next city over, (a bit of Sommerville might jutt in) but it is on the Little Mystic (River) Channel. You have to round the North End Peninsula before you enter Boston Harbaah which technically I guess you could call part of the Sea, if one is willing to confuse Seas with Oceans.

So we need to look at armoring the top of our society against bad ideas instead of trying to limit what ordinary people can read online.”

My question: How? Glenn Reynolds describes what it’d look like, but not who and how “we’d” take over as the elites’ paymasters. (My answer: I have no idea.)

  3. If it’s your tanks getting blown up from the top, then sure, armor from the top or whatever fixes that problem. If it’s the other guy’s tanks, then you can help by firing more Javelin missiles.

It’s not my elite and thus, not my vulnerability to protect.

My take is that the vulnerability is already being ruthlessly exploited by the correcting, seedy elements of society. For example, book writers who write what the elite want to believe. That’s a small but steady contribution to defunding the elite.
