As a famous Congresswoman once said: “We have to pass the bill to learn what’s in it.”
As a famous District Attorney once claimed: “We have to try and convict a person, in order to determine their crime.”
Which is just a variation of Stalin’s henchman Beria’s statement, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.”

Looks like a good step in the right direction.
Separation of powers is not only the base of a good republic, it is what the totalitarians need to destroy to take over.
I just hope we can correct this ship with a minimum of bloodshed.
