On a related note, there’s a contract on Intrade that has 2010 as being somewhere around 2/3 likely to be the warmest year on record, using GISS data. I don’t know how you can get that certain about a year that is only a quarter through, unless you have a very good model, are a bit too optimistic, or know that the fix is in.

Actually most of the annual increase NASA is getting for the next several years is for climate research missions. Zero it out and the five year NASA budget actually is less then previous ones.
