  1. I just realized that so far, as far as we can prove, NONE of the people who have set foot on Earth have survived the trip without developing degenerative conditions which ended or will end their life. Of course we can always hope, but so far, visiting Earth has a pretty much uniform record of being unsurvivable, if you wait long enough.

Simply a tongue in cheek way of pointing out that risk can be increased or decreased, but we all eventually die from something. The question is whether or not the risks are worth it to us, individually. Or, even shorter:

“Every man dies; not every man really lives”

    1. Man dominates man to his injury, but our founders tried to form a more perfect union. Why? Because being a slave to tyranny means not really living.

We have enslaved ourselves again. The chains are mental. But if we take the risk, we can break the chains. The wealth waiting for us in the solar system is beyond imagining. To realize that wealth only requires us to realize we are not the property of our governments. We not only have the right but the moral obligation to make our reasonable individual claim so that by trade we can increase everybody’s wealth.

Inspiration Mars will show us that we can get close to mars orbit without spending billions. If the Mars One lander is successful it will show that we can put 2.5 mt at a time on mars with up to four crew (for about $190m.)

We can pay for it all for an impulse buy of a bit more than $100 per acre.

All we need to do is throw off the chains and free our minds.

My plan allows anybody, not just the rich or super rich, to be a part of it.

16% of the income from Bigelow’s Alpha station would pay for the whole thing.
