Yeah it does sound good.
Reminds me of a science fiction short story I’ve wanted to write but never tried to:
Bunch of astros in an orbiting spaceship. Everything is fine until WHAM.
One Astro wakes up in orbit, only one alive, inside a wrecked spaceship.
Astro has to jury rig, fix, manipulate and otherwise science and engineer himself to safety. As the story goes on the kind of damage etc. clues the astro as to what happened.

Really looking forward to it. The one record-screech (other than Damon) is Jeff Daniels, and he’s the NASA Amin, the closest thing to a jerk in the book, so no problem. Really a shame about Damon. Watney’s the most junior member of the crew, and you pick Damon?? I just looked it up; he’s older than any of the other actors playing the crew (44).
