Today at work I had to take diversity training. I learned that you can only be discriminated against if you are in a ‘Protected Class’. Essentially a protected class is anyone that isn’t a white, male under the age of 40. But hey! I turned 40 last week so that means I’ve lived long enough to be able to fight for my own cause against anti-ageist rhetoric. I’m just waiting for someone to comment on my graying hair and I’m gonna let ’em have it!
