    Notice how as soon as the Japanese bought BD that their robots got a styleized make over and look very cool?

  2. Those “robots” are merely glorified iron filings. They are moved by manipulating a large magnetic field around them, I played with magnets 40 years ago and “walked” a magnet on top of a table by spinning a moving another one under the table. Now if they can power a microsubmarine by spinning a motor inside it via the external field, they might have something controllable.
