We have private security at the airport in Kansas City. They are kind, courteous, and efficient. Not being government employees means their management has an incentive to keep good employees and ensure his customers are pleased with the service they provide. SeaTac and San Francisco also use private security. Compare and contrast with other cities. You can see and feel the difference.
Also the local news has had a hard time keeping with the party line of the poor federal employees and their plight.
