Mitt was a good businessman (and a good man, among the best ever to run for president), and the country would be in much better shape, both domestically and overseas, if he had won. But he had (and has) no discernible political principles or ideology, and cannot fathom anyone who does. The electorate could tell, and they wanted something more. Her crimes have to do with her handling of email. But that’s no excuse for the Democrats to pretend that there’s nothing there, and run interference for her. This has been policitized, but as always, it’s politicized by Democrats who refuse to hold members of their own party accountable for anything. The endless debate: Are they domesticated?
