How much will it cost? A conversation with Jim Bridenstine.
Trump And Morton Klein
These days, supporting Trump and Netenyahu makes you a pariah among American leftist (not “liberal”) Jews.
Falcon Heavy News Coverage
Bob Zimmerman isn’t impressed.
I’d note that Jackie Wattles is one of CNN’s space reporters (the other is Rachel Crane, who I met at last year’s launch, and who just received a space journalism award in February from the Commercial Space Federation, a few weeks after giving birth).
Speaking of FH coverage, here’s Eric Berger’s take.

Notre Dame
We were just there a couple years ago. These pictures are devastating. How could it happen? Was it arson?
[Mid-afternoon update]
Good news: They’re reporting now that the structure has been saved, including the north belfry, but that much of the roof will have to be rebuilt. Not to mention, of course, the spire.
Sanctuary Cities
Can Trump legally move the illegal immigrants to them?
While it does put the Democrats in a logical bind, it may be, though, as the article points out, that he’s being too clever by half:
The plan would put thousands of immigrants in cities that are not only welcoming to them, but also more likely to rebuff federal officials carrying out deportation orders. Many of these locations have more resources to help immigrants make their legal cases to stay in the United States than smaller cities, with some of the nation’s biggest immigration advocacy groups based in places like San Francisco, New York City and Chicago.
Well, that could be an oopsie.

Spartacus says that moving illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities “makes us less safe.” Didn’t he get the memo? These are the most wonderful people in the world.
[Update a while later]
Yes, Democrats have no interest in illegal aliens, other than as a route to power. Which makes the irony of them declaring that Trump is using them as “political pawns” exceedingly rich.
Malware
This was inevitable, given the little thought apparently given to security on the Internet of Things.
Plastic Bag Bans
…are garbage.
Yes, I’ve always thought this was stupid, since California implemented it. If you don’t wash the reusable bags regularly (and many probably don’t), they’re a public-health nightmare.
Ken Starr
Was too easy on Hillary.
Well, duh. He was an incompetent boob. As I’ve long said, that case needed a seasoned prosecutor with RICO experience, not an amiable “distinguished” federal judge. While I can easily believe that Hillary was a bitch to her former lover, I remain skeptical that Vince Foster murdered Vince Foster; he was convicted without a proper trial or investigation.
Trump’s Brilliant Trolling
Thoughts from Ann Althouse on the “threat” to send the wonderful immigrants to sanctuary cities.
Per one of the comments, one of the many reasons they’re squealing like the stuck pigs that they are is that sending the newcomers to blue cities and states defeats the purpose of importing large numbers of new Democrat voters. Obama always flooded the red states with them.
And yes, they are being NIMBY about this (as with much else).
And yes, this is still appropriate, half a century later.
[Update a while later]
Tucker Carlson: Trump calls the Democrats’ bluff on illegal immigration.
He really has put them in a box.
[Update a few minutes later]
Democrats are furious that Trump has exposed them for the virtue-signaling hypocrites that they are.
The Real Takeaway From The Failed Mueller Investigation
Washington is chock-full of foreign influencers.
I’m not sure I’d characterize the investigation as “failed,” though. It has (so far) accomplished what it was supposed to: Cover up the wrongdoing of 2016 (and before) and cripple the Trump presidency. Though the former is starting to unravel, I hope.
