Mr. Aerospace Engineer, tear down those walls.
Football Physics
I’ve been proposing this for years. You could also put sensors in the feet and knees to determine in-bounds and when a player does down.
Milo Yiannopoulos
His terrifying allure. An interesting story by one of his feminist “adversaries.”
The IRS
The Department of (In)Justice may be running interference for you, but your legal problems haven’t gone away, and aren’t going to.
[Afternoon update]
More of this, please. Papers have been filed in the House for the impeachment of John Koskinen for (among other things) destruction of evidence.
Gina McCarthy should be next.
The Donald
…finally treats a political opponent with respect and good faith.
I understand the white-hot anger at the GOPe, and share it. I will never comprehend the notion that Trump is a rational response to it. He’s a Democrat, and a opportunistic chameleon with (like Romney) no discernible political principles.
When God Goes Away
…superstition takes his place. Including things like the climate-change religion.
I think it was Chesterton who said that when people cease believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing, they believe anything. This is why, despite my own lack of belief, I think that attacks on organized religion by the Left (as engaged in by people like Dawkins and Dennett) can be disastrous. Like death, God serves a useful societal purpose, if not for every individual, whether He exists or not.
The California High-Speed Boondoggle
This idiocy can’t end soon enough. Fortunately, even the state’s idiot electorate has finally seen the light.
Appendix N
Why he isn’t President Romney. Mitt was a good businessman (and a good man, among the best ever to run for president), and the country would be in much better shape, both domestically and overseas, if he had won. But he had (and has) no discernible political principles or ideology, and cannot fathom anyone who does. The electorate could tell, and they wanted something more. [Update quite a bit later] I’m having serious link issues today. Fixed now, sorry. …you can’t get your childhood back. As someone in my early twenties when it came back, I was a lot less impressed than the kids at the time. After the duds that were Eps 1-3, I’ll probably wait for it to be free on television.Mitt Romney
