I see that the author of the article you link to thinks that the Honduran military acted illegally in exiling Zelaya without legal authorization or trial.
Also, by not withdrawing their ambassador to Honduras, unlike many other countries , the Obama administration may well be less hostile to the de facto government than most countries that have expressed an opinion.
