  1. How often is anonymity in a financial transaction worth the effort of going to a bank specifically to request $500 or $1000 bills (or larger) in order to make the transaction? I suspect few people would want to carry around these denominations day to day. using plastic is so much more convenient.
    It would be cool though to go buy a car someday and just peel off a couple bills to pay for it.

  2. I. CAN. NOT. BELIEVE. we’ve reached the point in this country where by having cash in your pocket you are presumed to be a criminal.

    I’m a really poor guy, yet my wallet is more likely to have a $100 bill in it than any other. It’s a convenience. I would never have many of them, but I’d like to be able to carry a $500 bill. Cash under a $100 is what I call change.
