  1. If it were my choice, I would use the $38 billion that Congress wants to flush down the toilet of history to save NASA by funding useful programs that will actually open the frontier and get the agency back to exploring almost right away.

    What I said, except for the part about saving NASA. Destruction is part of the healthy thing.

  2. I am curious. Exactly why did this Administration settle on RAC-1 for reference design? As best as I can tell, the 2010 authorization doesn’t explicitly obligate NASA to the Shuttle supply chain on pain of death, and RAC-2 at least anticipated a commercial contender for super heavy.
