One of the problems with the US airline industry is that it takes a long time for the losers to go away. With any sort of decent turnover in sick airlines, the discount airlines would already be flying out of many of the major cities right now.
I misread the title as “Why Did America Declare Bankruptcy”. I knew things were bad, but didn’t think they were that bad yet.
With emphasis on the word “yet.”
Essentially, the issue is pretty much the same. Its interesting how capitalist are called greedy but not the unions.
