I think Obama wants to increase taxes because that’s what statists do. They can no more keep their hands out of digging deeper and deeper into people’s pockets than Michael Moore can walk away from a hot-dog stand.
Well, the source of Mikey’s inability to walk away from a hot dog stand is twofold.
Poor people can be ruled. If there aren’t enough of them, they can be manufactured.
I wish Romney would have dinged Obama for this during the debate. Cutting spending by a couple billion doesn’t mean you can spend a trillion. Raising taxes doesn’t mean you can spend several trillion when we still have a deficit. Ending the wars doesn’t mean we have tons of money to spend at home.
Romney tried to point it out but just didn’t do a good job.
