  1. Oh that is hilarious. Harsh, but hilarious. What a sad mistake to have involved himself in the narrative crafted for Trayvon.

    1. But it helped him win Florida and the racist narrative drove voters to the polls all over the country.

And now that Obama has his second term, we don’t have to worry about Romney letting Detroit go bankrupt…

  2. I waited all of 2008 and 2012 for anyone in the Republican Party to say, “Here’s this guy who says he’s gonna bring into Washington the same folks who made Chicago and Detroit so wonderful… Let’s look at Chicago and Detroit…”- but I guess they were too busy playing 4-dimensional chess.

  3. One day I’d like to see an insider gather together the unemployed disenfranchised masses and paint fences, tear down burnt out buildings, and generally improve the ghetto. Ya know, instead of just whining.

    1. If the “unemployed disenfranchised masses” were the type who would go and “paint fences, tear down burnt out buildings, and generally improve the ghetto”, they wouldn’t be unemployed or disenfranchised.
      Charachter is destiny.

    2. Um, they would be stopped by the police, as we saw with the D.C. metro flowers. Those are UNION jobs, and only the union can do them, when, you know, time and budget permit…….

  4. Democrats can’t get elected without lying to the stupid and getting out their vote. Fix this or the country has no future.

Frankly, I don’t think this will be fixed. They could start by remembering what ‘Rule of law’ means. Hint: equal and blind. It’s even still symbolically represented in stone in many places (why it’s always a woman is somewhat a mystery?)

The space environment would probably kill the stupid, quicker.

    1. Yes, a strong advantage of any frontier. Strong property rights (much more so than we’ve ever seen) would eliminate the ability of politicians to pander to the idiots that turn around and elect them. If you don’t work, you don’t eat. Since in space that means no funds to buy oxygen along with food and water we are talking substantially quicker.

Strong property rights means nobody can take your property away from you, in whole or in part, without your true consent meaning fair trade, no eminent domain, no property taxes, etc. If you want ‘public services’ you contract with private companies for them.

Residents of the solar system will look back in amazement at how our world was run before the collapse and riots of the late 21st century.

      1. It goes without saying that basic finance will be part of the education of all minors. Knowing that they are responsible for their own welfare means they will take the twenty years (if that) building their personally retirement. Wealth is easy with compound interest, time, and the discipline that comes from knowing nobody else will do it for you. With a good economy bank interest alone would be good enough to accomplish this. The main reason banks don’t provide a decent interest rate these days is because the government is giving them a back door to so much [stolen] public money to play with they have no need to give an interest incentive to front door individual public money.

  6. If I had a brain-damaged son who could communicate only by repeating pre-fab Democratic talking points, he’d sound like Jim.
