Excellent choice.
That’s a separate issue, though it is a good choice. He will lead the investigation. The question is who will be committee counsel. McCarthy was one possibility. Chertoff might be another.
Ya, they shouldn’t pull an Obama and put someone in that role that has clear conflicts of interests and no impartiality.
