  1. I’ve been trying to remember the venerable food guidance chart the Food Pyramid replaced. It preached balance and didn’t demonize red meat. Anybody remember what it was called?

    Web searching has been futile for me so far without a name to search for.

  2. Was it the “Basic Four” chart? That was promoted from 1956 through 1992, when it was replaced by the food pyramid. Basic Four also was promoted as “Food for Fitness”
