  1. It doesn’t surprise me. This carries on the narrative that there was massive Russian interference in “our democracy” and in the 2016 election. All that came out of it was Mueller indicting 13 Russian companies for trolling on Facebook, knowing that they would never have to answer his charges (that nearly backfired on him). At the announcement of the indictments, DoJ noted that there was no evidence that any of their activities had any effect on the outcome of the election, and none of any U.S. citizen involvement. The story that Russians hacked the DNC servers was never subjected to any scrutiny by the FBI, which was never allowed access to them. We have only the DNC’s and Crowdstrike’s word for it. This article is more like a smokescreen to cover up possible criminal activities by the Democrats and DoJ – it may make Obama look incompetent, but so what?

  2. Hillary spent something like a billion dollars on the election. A couple million spent by the Russians to support all sides in the contest didn’t sway anything. The media always leaves off the bit that Russia was organizing Democrat protests before and after the election, they didn’t do things that solely supported one side.

Obama’s IC, with Clapper and Brennan, made that claim despite the evidence that proved them wrong. It was a little self serving since they had already illegally spied in the Trump campaign and were plotting a coup.

The media perpetuates these myths because they were participants in the illegal acts.
