The first link went to WaPo (yuk!) and didn’t seem to mention Taiwan?
While I do agree that it’s very overdue to recognize Taiwan, I think there’s something far more important to do as well. Hold China legally financially liable for mayhem it has done.
A legal judgement of liability could come close to paying for the enormous two trillion dollar bailout bill. How to collect? A judgment of liability can be used to negate debts – such as the US treasury bonds and other debts that the Chinese regime holds. These come close to two trillion.
It’s time to make China pay – literally.
