  1. This stuff is obvious to anyone whose ever owned a dog. The problem with the article is, labrador retriever =/= dog. Big dogs generally have shorter life spans than small dogs. My Dad’s black lab lived to be 11, his two springer spaniels to 17 and 19 respectively, and my miniature schnauzer made it to twenty. Akitas seldom live beyond 7 or so. Cats can live past 30, but rarely do. One of my brown tabbies made it to 22.

  2. One of Greta Thunberg’s more sinister climate crisis solutions was the euthanasia of pets. She deemed pets completely unnecessary and wanted to save on carbon emissions from e.g. making pet food, driving pets around, etc. She had a whole list.

    1. Greta looks young and tender. Probably high in polyunsaturated fats too, since she’s a vegan. It is as the Grimms prophesied.

      1. She’s older than she looks because of no breasts and childish grooming. I’m rather familiar with the fates of Asberger children, and expect eventual terrible revelations about her. Male Aspies usual wind up incel. Females are not so lucky.

      1. None of her rules apply to her; her hypocrisy is rampant. For example she loves to shame people for air travel (the Swedes call it Flygskam). Her famous sail trip was one way – she flew home afterwards and an entire crew sailed the boat back.

      2. Just chiming in with another of example of her hypocrisy…in Europe where the effects of the Wuhan flu are very real and very serious, Sweden eschewed most preventative measures and was rewarded with a per capita death rate 10x its neighbors…Greta has offered no criticism of the Swedish response, but cheerfully appeared on CNN’s expert panel and chastised Americans for “not listening to the science”

    2. Ah, yes, the Wednesday Addams of Climate Change – face of a serial killer, that one. Good thing her 15 minutes are already up – like those teenage gun-grabbers from Florida. The transnational left have moved on to other seemingly more promising forms of socio-political mischief.

  3. Rand,
I’ve seen several websites that make nonlinear cat age comparisons. Don’t have any links, but search for “cat ages”.
