I’m giving a talk on the economics of spaceflight on Friday in Omaha. Does anyone have a chart showing the cost per flight as a function of flight rate for both expendables and reusables? Doesn’t need to have citable numbers in it, just looking for something conceptual.

Well scrap that one… I just noticed it was from 1992…. whoops.
The vintage isn’t the problem; there was good work being done on that then, just not at NASA. I’m looking for something from someone like Jay Penn at Aerospace. I’ve tried to contact him, but the email bounced (which worries me).
