It’s time to rethink lots of things, but we don’t usually do it until under duress. The virus has been helpful in that regard in many cases.

It doesn’t matter because the thought is in the right place. Many people have no problem paying more to recycle than to landfill. It isn’t a rational decision making process so rationality can’t combat it, with one exception.

Cost wont change minds but showing how recycling can be worse for the environment might.
