I don’t know whether CRT is better social theory than, say, Amy Chua’s “Triple Package / Tiger Mom” theory or Deirdre McCloskey’s “Bourgeois Virtues” theory or Charles Murray’s “Bell Curve” theory or David Hacker’s “Four Folkways” theory or Jim Webb’s “Born Fighting” theory — there may be overlap between Webb and Hacker — or any other contemporary analysis of our origins. Theory may or may not be useful, and it takes some time to figure it out.
I’m pretty sure the “1619 project” is something different than “history” and not as honest, or useful, or careful.
Enh, just means she is getting a big payoff someplace else and doesn’t intend to stick around.
