The constant lies, scapegoating, and bullying have been bad for the country, perhaps worse than the pandemic itself.
The Woke Mind Virus prevents a rational view of reality and assessment of Progressive Marxist policy outcomes. Always blaming other people and punishing them extrajudicially means they don’t ever examine the effects of their policies and also don’t care about those effects
Bullying makes people less likely to do what you want them to do? The solution is… Destroy their lives because it feels good and not to change policies.
This isn’t even about COVID. The virus has just revealed on a society wide scale how Democrats rule on every issue. Fear, hatred, force, the psychopathic desire to make people suffer, and the refusal to look at policy outcomes or listen to people with other views on solutions are the Democrat hallmarks for every policy.
Is there a single issue where Democrats don’t use fear, hatred, and force? Certainly not on mundane issues like shopping bags and people who are incapable of using bag persuasion or tolerating different views on carrying groceries are not better on more serious issues. On the contrary, the more serious they think an issue is, the less they care about outcomes or treating humans well and everything is an exestential crisis with them.
The allowed a harsh, moralistic ideology to take over their minds. They started by being told they were “good people” if they believed what they were told by other “good people”, and shunned bad people, who are people who disagree with any element of what good people believe.
“We’re good people because… we sort our trash, unlike bad people.” And on they go. “We want to protect the planet from evil people” (which involves flying to Switzerland for climate conferences). “We want to stop racism by evil people” (by enforcing rigid racial hierarchies and re-instituting racial segregation).
It’s not just tribalism because they’ve mentally defined their tribe as being people who believe in absolute good, and the other tribe as being absolute evil. They don’t think it’s wrong to hate evil people in the other tribe. They don’t think blacks can be racist. They don’t think they’re being racist when they crank Jim Crow to 11, because they’re good people who wouldn’t be turning the knob unless it was a good thing to do.
Their world is just one giant morality play, and if they don’t know what is the proper moral belief, they just assume that the other tribe is of course wrong, if not depraved, and adopt the opposite position.
