  1. Let’s celebrate and declare truckers are only people who should have unions.
    It’s forever, their privilege.
    A sacred right!

  2. I think Ezra has the psychology of Trudeau and Butts figured out pretty well. His analysis that the Dems having to save their own skins might in turn save Prince Justin from his own stupidity is solid. Let’s hope it turns out that way. I’m sure VP Psaki and Joe will claim credit, but I hope people will see through all that.

  3. When the Parliament stages a vote of no confidence, let us know.

Until then, the Canadians are just saying “Please, Sir: May I have another”

  4. It has all been very revealing but who can say how it will end? I wouldn’t be surprised if the military was called in or if our government engaged in violence against Canadian protesters.

  5. Even if there are bad elements amongst the truckers, Trudeau’s own words show, very clearly, which side is doing the actual lying and smearing here. If that wasn’t enough, you have the usual hacks in the lefty media lying, making preposterous claims.

To me, the most glaring lie of all is their oft-repeated smear that all who oppose vax mandates are anti-vax. That all who refuse to show proof of vaccination don’t have such proof. I happen to be one of those people the lying hacks say do not exist. I am of the opinion that I exist, so I see that particular lie rather clearly.

I think it is abundantly clear who needs to leave Ottawa, and it’s not the truckers. It’s Trudeau.

  6. Sadly, the “president’s” handlers haven’t yet got the message of their internal polling yet. Blue state governors are retreating, but not the WH yet. The solution will either have to come from DC, or the Tories will have to persuade the NDP to pull the plug on Prince Justin’s “government”. So far, I haven’t seen any signs of that happening.

So my money is still on DC caving first.

Joanne Nova has a good post that suggests that there is a lot of ex-RCMP and ex-military-intelligence expertise helping out the protesters. They’ve certainly out-foxed the Libs in Ottawa.

Finally, quite a few people have pointed out the stupidity of suggestions of some on the left that the military should just go in and use heavy equipment to push the trucks out of the way. Iowahawk has a very funny twitter thread where he makes fun of suggestions to damage trucker’s tires. He used to work in a tire shop and he notes that the roof had circles in the ceiling where split rims had impacted after having experienced a RUD. People on the left need to get out and talk to people who actually know something.

Shhh! Don’t give away the means to culling the herd! You should be encouraging them the take photos of their handiwork. Get good and close so we can see….

  7. Unfortunately it appears Dopy Joe told Turdo to escalate rather than negotiate. It may end well, but in the meantime, people will get hurt.
And it’s all on the progressives.
