  1. The substack link to the actual story is here.

I haven’t read through the “Proximal Origins” emails yet, but I know to be very careful to read them with an eye prior to the infamous Feb. 4th telecon meeting and after said meeting. The one that Dr. Redfield from the CDC was excluded. I’ll be reading to see Mr. Anderson do his famous 180. He looks a lot older than I pictured him.

This is going to be the microbiologists/virologists equivalent to Climate Scientists’ Climategate emails no doubt.

…And then we now have this nugget. Funny, they didn’t impose any restrictions on the Wuhan wet market? Doesn’t the Biden Administration believe in Following The Science?&#8482

    1. I’m sorry it appears that meeting took place in the afternoon of Feb. 3rd and the fallout started to spread on Feb. 4th:

Rapid Response for Assessment of Data Needs for 2019-nCoV
      February 3, 2020 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (ET)
      Keck Center, Room 103
      500 5th St NW, Washington, DC 20001

Meeting Objective: Assess what data, information and samples are needed to understand the evolutionary origins of 2019-nCoV and more effectively respond to the outbreak and resulting misinformation.

      Emphasis mine.

Evolutionary Origins? Like in Serial Passage? (LoL) It appears the conclusion was baked-in before the meeting had even begun.
Surprised that emphasis was placed on “resulting misinformation” rather than “causal determination”. Interesting choice of priorities no?
