  1. It is strange that with all of these abuses of power, unconstitutional acts, perpetrating the invasion of our own country, and the persecution of dissidents that we don’t even know who is using the powers of the presidency to run the country?

  2. Well some Republicans still have a pair:

BREAKING NEWS: Matt Gaetz Launches An All-Out Assault On Kevin McCarthy’s Time As Speaker

Although I am glad that Keven McCarthy launched the impeachment inquiry without a floor vote. If Pelosi did it then it is the new precedent the republicans would be fools not to fight back in kind.

      1. “No floor vote is required for an impeachment inquiry. Pelosi actually impeached without one.”

Agreed. But he (McCarthy) was being wimped into the idea of doing one to show “we are better than them (the dems under pelosi). You can check his earlier statements to that effect; this repuke/challenge from young firebrand Matt Gaetz is probably not coincidental to McCarthy’s change of heart. He (Gaetz) is also the one who said some weeks ago something to the effect that a House committee can grant Trump immunity from the multiple charges/trials against him in exchange for his testimony, not necessarily requiring a full vote of the House.

        1. If he (Gaetz) does that the dems/media will go ballistic; there will be calls to indict the entire judicial committee for “interference”, “obstruction” etc. especially if SCOTUS were to uphold said granting of immunity (hopefully they would).

  3. Isn’t today when the UAW declares a strike against the “Detroit Three” US automakers?

    Is anyone going to notice?

How is Mr. Biden doing with his efforts to put pressure on the parties to resolve this crisis? “We can’t bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. We tell stories that don’t go anywhere. Like the time I took the ferry to go to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time.”

    1. Yes! Totally agree. Everyone in a windowless, locked room with Joe, gagged and tied to a chair, except for Joe of course… Every hour a question is asked, “Do we have an agreement?” Otherwise you stay.

Government of the best and the brightest…

      1. You may ask if everyone is tied to a chair why is the room locked?
Well, to keep Joe from wandering off of course!

    2. I can remember the day after 9/11, when I was there at the World Trade Center, with Sen. Clinton, staring at the the Gates of Hell, er, I mean looking at her. I remember saying…. saying…. something. Now where am I?… What am I doing?… Where do you need me to go now?
