Democrat Jewish Innocence

One can hope that this is finally the end of it.

Jews, like blacks, have always been fools to vote for Democrats.

  1. I remember not too long ago there was a jewish guy from Chicago who frequented this space. Never knew or met him but I’d bet a thou he’s still spouting the same progressive drivel. Something along the lines of:
    “Of course the Palestinians are capable of barbarity (as are we all if pushed hard enough), but if Netanyahu had provided greater incentives, such as more work permits and settlement reductions, these atrocities could have been avoided.”

    It reeks of rank stupidity but there’s just too much contrary evidence available for that to be true. Riddle… mystery… enigma.
    As for the author’s contention:
    the idea that Jews are liberal out of residual devotion to FDR and his pro-unionism; as pushback against the brutality they suffered under right-wing totalitarians like Hitler; and because, when Jews became secular, they replaced their religion with progressivism.
    Dear Ms. Sally, please do not try so hard to refute the stereotype of jewish superior intelligence in such a condensed fashion; it’s not healthy for you. Spread it out a little if nothing else.
    “We vote democrat because FDR was friendly to labor unions.”
    “We vote democrat because we’re still haunted by that evil Republican Hitler.”
    Or at least put something in the header about your next stand-up gig.

    1. What? Come up with another reason that someone like George Takei (who, yes, is not a Jew), having been personally put in an internment camp, is a rabid Democrat.

      1. Put in that internment camp by one of the most leftist democrats to ever hold any high office. FDR is to this day a democrat party icon.

  2. “Jews, like blacks, have always been fools to vote for Democrats. ”

    I believe that most blacks prior to FDR voted Republican because it was the party of Lincoln. I don’t think they really switched fully to Democratic Party until Lyndon Johnson but I could be mistaken. I agree that logically makes no sense anymore for blacks to mindlessly vote democrat (or don’t vote at all )it creates a dichotomy where the republican figures why do anything for blacks they won’t vote for me no matter what I do and the democrat knows all he has to do or she has to do is show up and not be the republican and 80-90% of blacks will mindlessly vote for you. This doesn’t really serve black’s interest anymore if it ever did. Another problem is there too many high-profile blacks like Barack Obama Eric holder Oprah Winfrey joy Reid et cetera (who feel beholden to the DNC) who are able to establish that personal connection with their black audience. They’re made to feel like they’re slapping the civil rights movement in the face to even consider voting republican never underestimate the power of the naked emotional appeal.

    1. Black voters get segregated, or gerrymandered, into race based voting disgricts. This means no shift in voter affiliation makes a difference until its a majority.

    2. I watched something recently on YouTube (yeah, I know) claiming that the Black vote started to shift Democrat in the 1930s–the blacks knew that the Dems were the party of segregation and the Klan but the Dems were offering more of other people’s money.

    1. My esteem for Prof. Dershowitz just keeps growing…
      Harking back to the days when being a Harvard law professor meant something…

  3. “right-wing totalitarians like Hitler”

    There’s the problem. The Right let the Left get away with calling Hitler/Mussolini/ Fascism/Nazism “right wing” for almost 100 years.

    Fascism is now and always has been a leftist ideology.

    When the Nazis came to power some of their first actions were to:

    (1) ban trading in stocks and bonds;
    (2) nationalize all large banks;
    (3) require registration of stock ownership with a state agency;
    (4) limit interest by law to five percent;
    (5) confiscate all profits acquired by inflation.

    All very socialist, because the Nazis were very much socialists.

    Simple test: who in the US/UK in the early 1930’s praised the government programs/policies of Hitler and Mussolini?

    Socialists / the left wing, that’s who because they were fellow travelers.

    1. I’ve always considered “extreme right-wing” to be represented by the Wild West. Esp. in those area of the US West in the 19th century that were considered “territories or possessions of the United States” but much of which were not yet organized as “States”. Thus most men living in these areas were laws unto themselves.

      It’s about as anarchistic as you can get.

    2. “Oh, but you see the National Socialists weren’t really socialists, just like how the USSR and CCCP weren’t/aren’t really communist! Real socialism/communism has never been tried! ”

      I swear to god, tankies are walking, talking examples of the purest form of the “no true Scotsman” fallacy.

    3. Both Mussolini, and Hitler, started out with Socialism, but they wouldn’t let them be in charge (what they really wanted was power). The full name of Hitlers Party was, after all the National Socialism party, while Mussolini’s was the National Fascist Party.

      Nor is politics linear, with communism on one end and fascism on the other: The more appropriate shape is a circle (maybe a sphere?) with communism and fascism next to each other at 175 to 180-degrees for one, and 180 to 185 for the other.

      1. Political ideologies do lie on a single straight axis. And that axis is labeled “degree of freedom allowed”. When thought of this way all of the totalitarian ideologies (socialism, fascism, communism) line up side by side where they belong. All other modifiers that people like to use (racism, nationalism etc) are nonsensical because they can be found among those all along the primary, ie freedom, axis. For instance who would claim that communist North Korea isn’t vehemently nationalist?

  4. Sounds like we have another group with poor representation in the current US political environment. Maybe if we get enough such groups, we can fix things like first past the post elections?

  5. Of course the Nazis were left wing, totalitarian socialists. It is right there in the name “National Socialist German Worker’s Party”. They didn’t hide it in the name or policies.

    1. I never use the “it’s in their name” argument because that is easily shown to be irrelevant, IE is North Korea really a “Democratic People’s Republic” just because it’s in their name? Of course not.

      It is however undeniable that Nazi/Fascist governing policies align with socialist ideology.

      “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State”.

    2. Of course the Nazis were left wing, totalitarian socialists. It is right there in the name “National Socialist German Worker’s Party”. They didn’t hide it in the name or policies.

      Theses sorts of groups are liberal when they’re trying to attract clueless followers and conservative when they’re cementing their hold on power. Right and left wing ideologies are merely tools.

  6. More on Israel arming its citizen:

    “Israel de facto implements the Second Amendment and Joe Biden is reportedly not happy”

    “On Saturday, Israeli outlet Haaretz reported that National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir had been pictured handing out rifles to the nation’s citizens and “community security squads” located throughout the kibbutzim—the episode created a “diplomatic incident” which manifested a threat from Joe Biden and his abettors to end “arms shipments” to the country. From the article:

    The U.S. administration told Israel that it would not supply the country with arms if they are used to arm civilians, and if they are to be distributed at political events. The administration also threatened to halt an order of some 20,000 rifles purchased by the National Security Ministry from American suppliers.

    The U.S. announcement shocked Israel’s defense establishment. In light of a considerable rifle shortage, resolving the crisis involved both political and judicial officials.
    ow, the rifles pictured were not American guns, but when Biden and company found out that any American arms sent could be used for this purpose, naturally, they threw a fit. What Israel was doing was de facto implementing the Second Amendment and arming the citizens, also known as the militia. And as we know, the Biden regime with a shadowy Obama somewhere in the mix despises the 2A above all else—a seriously armed population is proving to be a rather formidable “cold war” defense against the all-out communism they desire.”

    So the missing piece of the puzzle; the reason why Israel chose to impose strict gun control on its citizenry in the years prior to this terrorist attack by Hamas could be subtle (or not so subtle) pressure from the American Biden/Obama administrations. How can you preach about the need for gun control at home with the conspicuous example of an armed Israel?

    1. I saw this too and was wondering where the right place to discuss this here would be.

      Get ready for our new National Diverse Bird, the American, Western Hemisphere, Gaian Bald, White Cloud Headed, Uwohali .

  7. “Why then despite all the rhetoric of solidarity, is the United States constantly pressuring Israel to be measured in its retaliation against the Hamas terrorists in Gaza, pressure that will only make things easier on Hamas?”

    Because our Progressives have been on the side of other branches of Marxism, including Arab Nationalism and Islamists, for the last 100 years.

    The sick part of this is that we have Democrats coordinating with their global allies to use their militant activist groups to terrorize Jews in the USA and around the world. Whatever one’s feelings on the war, it should be unacceptable to all Americans for acts of violence to be carried out in the USA in the name of Hamas or anyone else.

    What we see instead are Democrats mobilizing their entire activist industry in support of Hamas. They are fielding government agents, academic administrators, lawyers, medics, fundraisers, and organizers in the effort to terrorize Jews and other Americans.

    Democrats didn’t just choose a side to cheer for. They chose a side as participants. They chose the side that wants not just to exterminate Israel and Jews around the globe but also America, their own country.
