I have some thoughts, over at the SpaceTech Analytics blog.
From Jews To The Gentiles
A friendly Rosh HaShanah message.
When we lived in Boca, it really did seem like God’s waiting room.
Anti-Vaccine People
…aren’t the only ones that need persuading.
This risk aversion is worse than “unhealthy.” It is tyrannical. Just look at Australia.
The Latest IPCC Report
A presentation by Judith Curry.
Activist Academia
How it destroyed scholarly peer review.
Peer review is highly overrated.
The Journalistic BS Detector
As he said, if it fits the narrative, it’s too good to check.
The Kardashian Butt
…must die.
A little light reading. I agree. As with boobs, quality over quantity.
“Science Deniers”
How not to talk to them.
Virgin Galactic
…is grounded. I wonder if they’ll take away their allowance, too?
Honestly, this seems kind of dumb. A SpaceShipTwo that is out of fuel is no more of a risk to public safety than a business jet. In fact, it’s less, if the jet goes down full of fuel.
[Late-evening update]
My assumption when I wrote the original post was that the concern was uninvolved public on the ground. It didn’t occur to me that it could be incurring on other airspace that might be unaware of it, and into which it was not supposed to go. My bad.
Well, Yes
There is a problem at the highest ranks of the Pentagon.
