  1. While the swamp wants to protect the boss, they mostly want to protect their paychecks?

  2. Biden wont be gone until they rig the primary. RFK and all of the other candidates* are being censored by media companies.

    * The exception being Newsome. He isn’t being censored. Highly likely they go with him but will also insure the others don’t get a vote.

  3. Some talk of the federal case against Trump having grounds for dismissal (because of the prosecutoral leak of the audio tape to CNN)

I like it but I think dismissal would be unlikely; you would have to prove to the Judges’ satisfaction that the source of the leaks was the prosecution. They will of course deny everything and strongly resist a House of Representative subpoena claiming that it would “interfere” with the ongoing case. Of course I don’t know whether Congress could subpeona CNN and make them reveal the source of said leak?

      1. “Nobody but the DoJ had the audio tapes, so far as I am aware.”

They (the prosecution) can still vehemently deny they leaked it; “I don’t know how this happened…but it wasn’t anyone in my office I assure you”. Absenting subpoenas of said justice department lawyers (and/or CNN officials) and forced testimony under oath under penalty of perjury by the House likely the judge wouldn’t dismiss. She (the judge) would be under enormous pressure not to dismiss all the charges even with said testimony. What happened to the allegation (stated by Trump) that the grand jury who indicted Trump wasn’t told anything by the DOJ lawyers (or the judge) about the presidential records act?

        1. There were only 36 possible leakers of the Dobbs decision, and only 16 credible ones. Yet they were supposedly never able to find the culprit. This one is hopeless.

  4. I suspect that the Dem strategy for the next election is to dump Biden, Harris, and everybody else who is an electoral liability. They will then try to repeat the Obama formula, pushing forward a relative unknown who is telegenic, articulate and energetic.

The more stark the contrast with mumbling, stumbling Joe Biden the better it will work. Indeed, a period of chaos and conflict within the party now will become useful later, to help sell the narrative of a new hero striding forth to save the nation from disaster.

If that is the plan, the candidate has probably been chosen already, and the media will attack Hunter Biden to pressure Joe Biden into going quietly.

      1. Agreed. Saw this after I posted below.
Or perhaps maybe ma belle, Michelle? Obama III…

      2. Gavin Newsome is the Hubert H. Humphrey of his generation. I mean why would progressives choose a white man named Gavin when they already have a brown womxn named Kamala?

  5. Yep, and CNN and other MSM organs are now going hot on Biden’s failing mental and physical condition. Seems like the only thing for Dems to do is keep Biden going until the end of this term. Then have him reconsider his run for a second term, while throwing his support behind the chosen candidate, whom we all know will not be Kamala.

  6. We’re supposed to fall for lipstick on the pig. Not the first time it’s their default.

  7. I would not use the metaphor of a dam breaking.

How about a breaching of the first line of fortifications when there is at least one more line behind it?

The press, as we saw with Mr. Clinton’s impeachment, was the first line. The second line, of political party loyalty, pretty much held.

Another line may be the donors to political campaigns?

  8. One thing’s for sure: If they do dump Biden Harris, it won’t b because the policies suck — it’ll be because the Republicans weaponized their own branding against them.

Happens every time. First they weaponized “progressive” against Woodrow Wilson so they had to start calling themselves liberals. Now things like “woke” and “ESG” have taken on negative connotations because of those mean old Republicans, and they’re fighting to ditch those labels now too.
