People are noting in the restaurant post that (ignoring the Democrats’ ongoing war against small businesses), the institutions hit hardest by the pandemic are dominated by the left. There is no small irony in that.
I have to confess that I wouldn’t miss it all that much, except when I travel. I can prepare my own food much healthier, and much lower cost. The fact that so many young people thought they could afford to pay other people to cook for them is one of the reasons that generation is having a tough time financially.
I got an email from Jon Goff about this yesterday, but didn’t want to post until there was a public announcement.
Ok, now that it's on Facebook, I feel it's ok to mention the horrible news here on Twitter. I found out this morning that my good friend Bernard Kutter of ULA passed away last night from a heart attack.
This is a huge loss to the industry. He had a great deal of vision, that was squandered by the child abuse of ULA’s parent companies. Not sure he’s replaceable. My deepest condolences to all his friends and family.
[Update a few minutes later]
Well, that was fast. This post is already number two on a DuckDuckGo search for “Bernard Kutter.” Funny thing is that Google has nothing on the death.
Yes, having the Chairman of the JCS call out the military if Trump refuses to leave office is a terrible idea, on multiple levels. This is Trump derangement to the max.
This is amazing: “On January 12, 2017 a felony leak about phone calls between the Russian Ambassador and General Flynn was published by The Washington Post. This led to Flynn’s downfall and reignited the Trump-Russia investigations still tearing our nation apart. 48 hours before the leak was published, my former supervisor Halper eerily laid out what was about to happen to Flynn, something he had no independent reason to know.”
It would appear that Halper was the leaker. And kudos to Matt Taibbi for trying to expose it.
