This is amazing: “On January 12, 2017 a felony leak about phone calls between the Russian Ambassador and General Flynn was published by The Washington Post. This led to Flynn’s downfall and reignited the Trump-Russia investigations still tearing our nation apart. 48 hours before the leak was published, my former supervisor Halper eerily laid out what was about to happen to Flynn, something he had no independent reason to know.”
It would appear that Halper was the leaker. And kudos to Matt Taibbi for trying to expose it.
This virus has been like a wildfire, sweeping through education, academia, and blue cities. It took technological and social trends that were already happening, and rapidly accelerated them, and now they’re smoldering ashes. I don’t think any of them will ever be the same again. And that’s not a bad thing.
Per some of the comments, I can’t actually remember when the last time was that I was sick. I suspect I have a pretty strong immune system (may be a combination of my mostly-keto diet and a lot of fasting). I have to fly to DC in a couple weeks for a deposition, but I’m not really sweating it.
The statistic of how many construction workers are killed each year makes NASA’s insistence on absolute astronaut safety at all costs seem even more insane. Once we get serious about space, people are going to die up there, but NASA will never be allowed to get serious about space.
